As we celebrate “Volunteer Week” 2017, we at Vista Hills would like to recognize and celebrate individuals who have gone above and beyond to assist our school community in establishing itself during our first year as a school community.

The Yeo and Dills families also found a unique way to raise funds for the school, and build community in their neighborhood at the same time – an Easter Egg Hunt for kids in the area to enjoy on Easter weekend.  Jorgia and Charlise Yeo, and Amelia Dills demonstrated great initiative through this memorable event that benefited others, while benefiting our school with $180 raised to support the Outdoor Play Space fund.

For this, we would like to thank Jorgia, Charlise, and Amelia for being fund raising HEROs for Vista Hills Public School!

Our School Council and staff would like to encourage ALL members of the Vista Hills community to consider being HEROs too:

  • Coordinate an initiative of your own, or
  • Simply contribute to our campaign with an on-line donation, or
  • Give strong support for our next campaign: the first-ever VH Walk-a-Thon which will be held on Friday June 9, 2017.  Details about this will be unveiled at our Grand Opening celebration on Thursday May 4th
