As we celebrate “Volunteer Week” 2017, we at Vista Hills would like to recognize and celebrate individuals who have gone above and beyond to assist our school community in establishing itself during our first year as a school community.
One such family is the Sun family, and specifically students Angie and Sydney (with great support from their parents) prepared and sold spring rolls in their neighborhood community, with the $120 in proceeds going directly towards our school’s outdoor play space funds.
For this we would like to thank Angie and Sydney for being fund raising HEROs for Vista Hills Public School!
Our School Council and staff would like to encourage ALL members of the Vista Hills community to consider being HEROs too:
- Coordinate an initiative of your own, or
- Simply contributing to our campaign with an on-line donation, or
- Give strong support for our next campaign: the first-ever VH Walk-a-Thon which will be held on Friday June 9, 2017. Details about this will be shared REAL SOON!
