Hello, Vista Hills students and caregivers!

We hope you have had a wonderful and restful summer!

We are so excited to be welcoming students back to school this year on Wednesday, September 4th!

Tuesday, September 3rd, is a Professional Development Day for teachers – students will not attend school on Tuesday.

We are still receiving enrollments, which means we are updating classes daily. On Monday evening, you will be able to log into School-Day to discover your student class codes.

On the first day of school, all teachers (Grades 1-8)  will be on the tarmac and/or field with a sign indicating their name and class number.  We will have staff members who will be helping those students who do not know their teacher.  Staff will be easily identifiable by their supervision vest.

All our Kindergarten students will meet with their teachers in the Kindergarten yard along Ladyslipper Drive.  Please ensure you take your child to their teacher for a person-to-person handoff every day.

For those students who were in summer school, we would appreciate having the Chromebooks returned to the school this week for processing and redistribution.

Please note that we will be having a “Meet the Teacher” Night on Thursday, September 5th, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Thanks for your patience, support, and trust in us as we launch the new school year.

Sincerely,
