Tomorrow morning the Vista Hills staff is looking forward to welcoming all students to the 2017-2018 school year!  VH has grown and a special welcome goes to all of our new students and staff who are going to add even greater meaning to the phrase “VISTA HILLS HAWKS ARE HEROs.  WE GIVE OTHERS GEMs everyday!”

 

All students will gather in the playground/tarmac area near Field A (the full soccer field).  Teachers will have their class signs (see below for the sample from Mme Capa’s class).  Students are asked to gather around with their class and homeroom teacher.

 

There will be some HERO GEM music playing, and as soon as all buses have arrived, we will begin our first flagpole gathering of the 2017-2018 school year. O Canada will be sung by a special guest, we will recite our daily affirmation, share a few announcements . . . and get the year started!

 

Parents are welcome to join us for the community flagpole gathering, which we have throughout the year when we begin a new HERO GEM attribute focus.

 

Tomorrow begins new opportunities for the Vista Hills community to show how “VISTA HILLS HAWKS ARE HEROs WHO OTHERS GEMs everyday!”
