The attached letter was posted on School Day, and details an ongoing concern that has occurred in school in our area.
Again, all parents are reminded to continue to make safety in the community, and to and from school, a priority by discussing the following items with your child (ren):
- Walk in pairs or in groups when possible
- If approached by strangers, do not engage with them or go near them if they ask you to
- If approached, immediately report it to a parent or trusted adult
- Parents are requested to be vigilant with knowing where their children are/plan to be
- If your child discloses that they were approached by a stranger, immediately report it to police
- Also report any suspicious vehicles or persons to police
