The Vista Hills community is ready to celebrate our first year of enhancing student achievement and well-being with our Grand Opening celebration, set for tomorrow, Thursday May 4th from 6:30 to 8:00.

 

There will be a special ceremony at 6:30 in the school gymnasium, with many special guests and dignitaries joining us, including:

 

  • Scott McMillan, Chair of the Board
  • John Bryant, Director of Education
  • Elaine Ranney, Superintendent of Student Achievement & Well-Being for VH
  • Diaene Vernile, MPP Kitchener-Centre
  • Catherine Fife, MPP Kitchener-Waterloo
  • Greg Weiler, ETFO President-Waterloo
  • Paul Sapounzi, The Ventin Group Architects

Our Primary, Junior and Intermediate choirs will join together to sing, the student drum line will perform, and the first official public performance of our school song “I Can be a HERO” will be sung by all Hawks in attendance.

Following that, there will be an open house for the WRDSB community to see, hear and feel what it’s like to be a member of the VH school community!
